Used 8ft LapLink™ Parallel Cable (DBM25 to DBM25). A Laplink™ Cable, also known as null-printer cable, allows the connection of two computers via the parallel port to establish a direct cable connection via the application program LapLink™. It's recommended that you set up your parallel ports to either EPP or EPP/ECP mode for use with this cable.
Comparison to null modem cables:
A Laplink™ cable can be seen as a parallel equivalent to a serial null modem cable. Because of the higher bandwidth of the parallel port versus the serial port, a Laplink™ cable is able to transfer data more quickly.
