Here is a sweet very old quilt to recycle and repurpose!   It is covered with little butterflies 3 x 5.5 inches size.  The vintage fabrics used are so pretty and you wil find both calico and feedsack fabrics making up the butterflies.  The quilt has many usable butterflies but some are damaged or torn.  The quilt itself is torn along one side (see pic) and the background white fabric has some batting shifting/clumping.  The butterflies are flat and not clumped.  Most of the quilt is pretty clean, may find a few light spots, but most is good.  Do note that one side of the quilt has been folded over on itself and stitched...I assume to preserve it longer?  You can see this in my picture.  The little butterflies will make great adornments for crafts and projects...would be fun on a blue jean jacket, tea towels, trivets, hankies, you name it...lots of creative reuse here.  My grandmother reused everything and even remade clothing of the older kids for the younger....back in the day!
