Description

Handsome fold-out 1965 Conoco road map of the United States, printed more than 55 years ago.
This map opens to 18" x 27" and has great detail on old highway alignments, including U.S. Route 66, with cartography by H.M. Gousha.
There are insets of the Hawaiian Islands and Oahu.
There's a mileage chart on the reverse side, along with a map of Alaska and a directory on national parks and monuments.
The map was distributed by the Continental Oil Company in 1965 to promote its Conoco brand. It is dated in the legend, and the code number in the lower margin is 10-MM.
The rear cover has dramatic artwork of a Conoco branding iron and the slogan "Hottest Brand Going."
Condition:
The map is in very good condition, bright and clean, with a couple of tiny spots on the cover and
no
